Below are some recent portraits. My portrait painting style derives from the Northern Renaissance technique- marked by pure color, painstaking detail, and multiple translucent glazes. There is nothing more thrilling to me than painting a refined portrait for someone. The portraits I paint have elicited some very emotional responses from those who have commissioned them. I feel very special knowing that these paintings will live on for centuries, preserving the memory of a loved one generation after generation.

With all of my portraits, clients are provided with photographs of the work as it progresses. This is a fun way for the client to interact during the painting process. Most of my portraits are painted on wood panels. Using the finest materials available, and applying them with time-tested techniques, ensures that all of my paintings will stand the test of time and become family heirlooms.
