Above is a portrait I created for Mackinac State Historic Parks. It will be photographed and reprinted at life size and used as a backdrop for an exhibit at Historic Mill Creek. Due to the type of material the image will be printed on, along with the fact that the image will be enlarged some three times from what is seen in the painting, I needed to execute the portrait in a style which was extremely detailed, with even lighting. This painting is so detailed that the needle and thread the young girl is holding are clearly visible. The Mill Creek exhibit is due to open in the spring of 2005.

Dogs too! Above is a portrait I created for a woman who loves her little Scottish Terrier. I know how fond she is of flowers too, so I added them to the painting.
